Completed October Events

October 18, 2017 - Guest Speaker Night

We had our very first of the guest speaker event series. This month, we were pleased to discuss mental health awareness in Regina and Saskatchewan with Kyle Moffat. Kyle Moffat is involved with the Canadian Mental Health Association for both the Regina Branch and the Saskatchewan Branch. To learn more about mental health services available in Regina and Saskatchewan, make sure you visit their website (https://cmha.ca/branches/regina-branch/). Thanks again to Kyle for the great discussion. And thank you to Birmingham's Vodka & Ale House for allowing us to use their space for this event.

WESK Connect

We would also like to thank the Women's Entrepreneurs of Saskatchewan Regina group for inviting our members out to their WESK Connect event. It was a nice after-work event at Sprouts Cafe in downtown Regina. A great networking event! We hope to attend future WESK events again (http://www.womenentrepreneurs.sk.ca/events/details/connect_presented_by_wesk.html).

October 17, 2017 - Couple's Social

This month we tried out O'Hanlon's Irish Pub in downtown Regina. There was some fantastic Irish food, along with some beer and wine enjoyed by all. Next month will be a new location, so stay tuned!

October 12, 2017 - Book Club

At this month's book club, we discussed Today Will Be Different by Marie Semple. There was lots of great discussion and some comparison to Where'd You Go Bernadette.

October 7, 2017 - Regina Farmer's Market

Regina Newcomers Club members enjoy attending the Regina Farmer's Market. The Dashing Divas group tries to meet at the Regina Farmer's Market during the summer months in particular to enjoy an outdoor stroll while purchasing local goods.
